Turn a Client's High-Risk Flag On or Off

How to mark a Client as High-Risk or remove the High-Risk Flag from a Client's profile.

Permissions

Who can turn the High-Risk Flag on/off for a Client?


✅ Clinician: Can turn on/off the High-Risk Flag for their own Clients.

✅ Supervisor: Can turn on/off the High-Risk Flag for any Clients.

Biller: Billing roles alone cannot turn on/off the High-Risk Flag for any Clients.

✅ Admin: Can turn on/off the High-Risk Flag for any Clients.


Important Notes

  • Clients can only be flagged as High-Risk after they've been activated (completed at least one Assessment in Blueprint).


How to Turn On the High-Risk Flag on a Client's Profile:

  1. Navigate to the Client's profile

  2. If they currently do not have the High-Risk Flag enabled, next to their name there will be a greyed out exclamation point:

  3. Click the exclamation point to turn on the High-Risk Flag. That's it! This change is saved automatically to the Client's profile.

How to Turn Off the High-Risk Flag on a Client's Profile:

  1. Navigate to the Client's profile

  2. If they currently have the High-Risk Flag enabled, next to their name there will be a red High Risk toggle.

  3. Click the exclamation point to turn off the High-Risk Flag. That's it! This change is saved automatically to the Client's profile.


FAQ

  1. Q: Will the Client receive a notification if I turn their High-Risk Flag on or off?

    A: No

  2. Q: Will Clinicians or other Staff Members at my clinic receive a notification if the High-Risk Flag is manually turned on/off for a Client?

    A: No, Clinicians/Staff Members who have Alerts enabled for their Client's High-Risk status will only receive an Alert if the Client triggers the High-Risk Flag themselves automatically through an Assessment.

  3. Q: Can Clients turn their High-Risk Flag on or off themselves?

    A: Clients can turn their High-Risk Flag on if they answer positively to a suicidal ideation question on the PHQ-9 or GAD-7.

    The only way the High-Risk Flag can be turned off is by a Staff Member at your clinic.

    ❗The Assessments, questions, and sensitivity that turn on the High-Risk Flag vary by clinic. Check with your clinic's Admin to be sure of your Clinics High-Risk settings.
