In this article we'll talk about which EHRs Blueprint can integrate with, how much it costs to integrate, and how how to start the integration process.


Permissions

Who can integrate Blueprint with an EHR?


​❌ Clinician: Clinician roles alone do not have access to add an EHR integration.

Supervisor: Clinician roles alone do not have access to add an EHR integration.

Biller: Billing roles alone do not have access to add an EHR integration.

✅ Admin: Admin roles can work with Blueprint to add on an EHR integration to their clinic's Plan.


Important Notes

  • EHR integrations are not available for trial users. You must have an active, paid plan to add an EHR integration.


Can Blueprint integrate with my EHR?

Blueprint can integrate with any EHR that provides an API-based or HL7-based interface. If you are not sure if your EHR supports either of those, reach out to your EHR provider.

💡 As of February 2024, the most common EHR we integrate with is AdvancedMD. TheraNest, TherapyNotes, and Simple Practice do not currently offer those interfaces. We also aren't currently able to integrate with IntakeQ.

We know that integrating with EHRs could be helpful for many clinicians and we are working diligently on ways to expand our integration capabilities. Keep an eye out on our News Center for updates!


What features are available with an EHR integration?

Our standard EHR Integration for our Measurement-Informed Care product enables the following automated actions:

  • Automatically enroll clients in Blueprint from your EHR

  • Automatically assign, schedule, and deliver Assessments based on specific data points shared from your EHR

  • Automatically push a PDF summary to the client’s chart in your EHR after they've submitted a Blueprint Assessment


How much does integrating an EHR integration cost?

The cost for an EHR integration is $7,500 per year. Integration fees are waived for clinics of 20+ clinicians.
