In this article we explain the process of the Blueprint Diagnostic Screener and how it's used to screen and assign Assessments after a Client is enrolled into Blueprint.

What is the BPDS?

The Blueprint Diagnostic Screener (BPDS) is a brief set of questions that screen for a range of Diagnostic Domains and automatically assigns Assessments based on screening results.

The BPDS brings Clinicians automation with control; it automatically assigns Clients the appropriate Assessments while still giving Clinicians the ability to assign additional Assessments or unassign Assessments if they wish.

The Workflow

Here's a visual reference of what happens when a new Client is enrolled into Blueprint:

Now, let's dive into the details of those steps!

  1. When a Client is enrolled into Blueprint, they are sent a text and email invitation to download the Blueprint Client Mobile App and create their Blueprint account.

  2. The sign-up process is quick and easy! After downloading the app, the Client will enter their phone number and create a password.

  3. The Client is then prompted to take the BPDS.

  4. Once completed, the Client receives a confirmation message that they've completed the Assessment and are brought to the app's home page.

Behind the scenes, the BPDS now automatically assigns Assessments to the Client based on their results. Clients will not be given these Assessments until their Next Measure Date, giving their Clinician(s) time to review them.

  5. The assigned Clinician(s) will receive an email notifying them that their Client has completed the BPDS.

    This email will include:

    1. a summary of the Assessment(s) assigned

    2. a link to view the Client's individual answers to the screener questions

    3. a link to assign Assessments or unassign any Assessments that have been automatically assigned.

  6. The assigned Clinician now has two options;

    1. Do nothing. If the assigned Clinician chooses not to make any adjustments to which Assessments were auto-assigned, then the auto-assigned Assessments will be will be sent to the Client on the Next Measure Date.

    2. Edit which Assessments are assigned. There may be cases when the assigned Clinician(s) want to add to or remove Assessments from the Client's Assessment list. Changes can be made anytime before the Next Measure Date.

  7. Once the Next Measure Date arrives, all Assessments assigned to the Client at that time will be sent to them for completion.

The Next Measure Date is determined by the earliest frequency of the Assessment(s) assigned, usually one week (the most common and recommended frequency.)

For example, if the Client has two Assessments assigned; one with a one week frequency and another with a two week frequency, both Assessments will be sent to the Client one week after the BPDS completion date, then each Assessment will carry on with their individual frequencies.

💡 You can view and edit the assigned Assessments and/or edit the Next Measure Date on the Client's profile at anytime.
