In this article we'll discuss what Magic Edit is, the logic it uses to automatically generate changes to your progress notes, and how to use it!
What is "Magic Edit"?
Magic Edit is a way for you to tell Blueprint to re-write the Note generated from your recorded Session.
Upon reviewing your Note, if something is missing, wrong, or you'd like to make tweaks, you can just tell our AI what to fix and it will automatically regenerate the Note!
How to use Magic Edit
After you've ended a Session and your Note has been generated, click the Magic Edit button near the top of the Note text
A Magic Edit panel will open on the right side of the window where you can type requests for Blueprint to consider and regenerate the Note.
Some examples include:Make the subjective section longer
Remove direct client quotes
Refer to the writer as "psychologist"
Write out more specific interventions based on transcript
Include more language on CBT
Document the risk assessment, include that ct did not exhibit any SI
Document more symptoms based on the diagnosis of _____
When the session is complete, click End Session
You'll immediately be brought to the Session Recap page where you can edit or copy the progress notes that were generated then paste them into your EHR. Come back to the Session Recap page anytime to access the notes!
FAQ
Q: Is Blueprint secure and private?
A: Yes, it is! Blueprint is HIPAA compliant and SOC-2 Type 2 Certified, which means we go through an annual audit on all of our data security practices and systems which is reviewed by a third-party auditor.Q: What happens to the recording after the Session has ended and the recording has stopped?
A: We take a privacy-first approach by automatically deleting all recordings after the Note, Session summary, and transcripts (if enabled) have been generated, which means the recording no longer exists on our platform, thus making it more secure than most other AI note taker platforms in market.
After the recording is processed, we produce a few artifacts:A transcription of the recording: you can choose to keep these or delete these. If you choose to delete them, you will lose access to certain functionality that relies on this transcript, such as our Magic Edit feature, which uses AI to re-generate a note based on your feedback.
A summary of the Session: you can choose to keep or delete these as well. This includes a clinician-facing summary and a client-facing summary that you can optionally send to clients after a Session.
Clinical Note: this is of course the key artifact, which you can edit/copy/paste into your EHR once generated.
