Transfer a Client to a Different Staff Member

How to transfer a Client from one Staff Member to another.

Permissions

✅ Clinician: Can access and transfer their own Clients.

✅ Supervisor: Can access and transfer any Client.

Biller: Billing roles alone do not have access any Client profiles.

✅ Admin: Can access and transfer any Client.


How to Transfer a Client to a different Staff Member

  1. Navigate to the Clients page within your Blueprint account

  2. Find the Client you wish to transfer and open their profile

  3. Click their blue Actions button towards upper-right the Client Summary

  4. Select Transfer Client

  5. Choose the Staff Member you'd like to transfer the Client to

  6. Click Confirm


Other Notes

  • If you are deleting a Staff Member and need to transfer all of their Clients to another Staff Member at once, check out this article on how to do so: Delete a Staff Member

  • Upon transfer, the Client will be unassigned from all currently assigned Staff Members. To share access to a Client's profile with another Staff Member, you can assign additional Staff Members instead of transferring completely. More info here: Assign Multiple Clinicians to a Client

  • Whoever the Client is transferred to becomes the Client's "Primary Clinician", which is who their Satisfaction With Care (CARE) survey responses are recorded under in the Client Satisfaction report.
