Updated over a week ago

If your Note generated but it doesn't quite hit the mark, read on to learn:

  • What may have caused your Note to fall short of your expectations

  • How to improve the Note now

  • What you can do to get the best Notes possible in the future

  • How to share feedback about Note quality directly with our product team

Before we begin

It's also worth mentioning that while we strive to produce Notes that are as close to perfect as possible, technology is never perfect. Notes generated by AI should always be reviewed and edited if necessary.

Why is the quality of my Note less than I expected?

First and foremost, if your Note isn't up to par, we apologize for the inconvenience. We understand the value in high-quality Notes and it's a top priority for our team to deliver the most accurate Note possible according to your session and preferences.

Note content is generated based on:

  • the session recording itself

  • the client's Treatment Plan*

  • the client's Assessments and Homework*

Usually when a less than desirable Note is generated it's due to the quality of the session recording.

Quality of the recording content can be diminished if:

  • an empty Transcript

    • the recording was never started, causing the Note to be generated based off of Assessments* and Homework* alone

  • a partial Transcript

    • the clinician's audio was recorded but the client's audio wasn't due to using Blueprint improperly

    • the recording was choppy due to internet, microphone, or device issues

    • the audio was unclear, perhaps due to microphone placement

    • your device has multiple programs and apps accessing the audio, which could cause Blueprint to lose it's access to the audio

  • the recording was done on the demo client profile, Johnny Appleseed

    • Notes generated for the demo client are pre-programmed

Read more below on how to address these issues and get setup for the best Notes possible.

How to improve a less than ideal Note

There are three things you can do to improve the quality of your Notes now and in the future.

Use Magic Edit to re-write the Note

As long as you have a Transcript, you can use Magic Edit to regenerate the Note according to your needs; feel free to get as specific as you'd like! Notes re-written via Magic Edit do not count towards your note usage.

Rate the Note

The best way to let us know how your note turned out is to rate it. Anytime a note is "off" or just not what you were hoping for, rate the note with the thumbs down icon (it's at the very bottom of the note, see screenshot) and leave a comment as to what was wrong with it. Our clinical and engineering teams analyze these reviews and use them to help guide product improvements and fine-tune the AI.
